Do you want to be part of the replacement of the Lawndale Fountain?

We need your help to generate $5,000 to purchase and install a cast aluminum, 3 tier fountain that replicates the original fountain.

You may have seen this photo of the iconic fountain from the Christmas of 1894-95 where the fountain was iced over from the freezing weather. So many of you have suggested that fountain be replaced. Board Member/Garden Chairperson Kevin Kologinsky and President Carole Pope heard your suggestions and have identified the fountain in the photo below for the front yard of Lawndale.

Replica Fountain

Our challenge now is generating the funding to purchase and install the fountain. There have been so many discussions regards the fountain. Let’s turn those discussions into donations and be part of the return of the fountain! We are already half way to the finish, read on to see how easy it is to be a part of this fundraiser!

Many of you know Dick Traeger from his efforts on the Shutter Project. That is just one of the many ways he has supported the museum. He’s such an incredible asset to the Lawndale organization.

Dick and his wife Karyl are the first ones to act upon this challenge. They have pledged $2,500 to create a matching campaign for the project. Dick and Karyl will match all incoming donations up to $2,500 in order to raise the total of $5,000 for the fountain in the front yard of Lawndale.
Your generosity has TWICE the power to support recreating the fountain that the original Williams family cherished over the years of living on River Road.
